SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Seasoned in Fleet Management, adept at optimizing vehicle utilization, scheduling, and maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Possess advantageous expertise driver safety, regulations, transport legislation, and safety protocols.
- Proven track record in Driver Management, fostering a cohesive and high-performing team while prioritizing safety and performance.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and Compliance, implementing robust protocols and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management, adept at navigating complex logistics while prioritizing safety and legal obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of operational changes to increase efficiency and productivity as directed by the Branch Operations Manager
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained
- Accountable for branch cost control, efficiencies and utilisation monitored through the performance review process
- Monitor or report branch budget and expenses to ensure financial targets are met
- Monitor and schedule movement of the fleet to ensure safe, cost effective, and reliable distribution of freight
- Ensure that the appropriate policies, procedures, and organisation structures are in place
- Drive local hire and ensure usage of branch based assets
- Maximise back loading capability
