SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous brand and design experience
- Creativity to tackle marketing challenges and produce unique, appealing designs
- Proficient in design – from idea conception, to design software, to promotion
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with people at all levels
- Experience of brand design, development and ownership
- Competent communication and proofing skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Proven design experience in a professional services firm or experience within a partnership structure
- People management experience
- Intermediate IT skills: MS Office - Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign and Express)
- Approachable at all times; flexible; assertive; proactive
- Displays ethical judgement

Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW
As Brand and Marketing Designer at Buzzacott, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our brand strategy and design. You will work closely with the Head of Growth to develop the brand’s visual identity, considering demographics, competitors, and market dynamics. You’ll blend creative design with marketing principles to create visually appealing yet strategically effective designs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and uphold the brand guidelines to ensure consistent branding across all marketing materials.
- Monitor and protect the firm’s brand reputation.
- Collaborate with the Head of Growth and Marketing team to execute marketing strategies designed to increase brand visibility and awareness.
- Conduct independent research to understand our firm values and characteristics, target audiences and competitors, as well as the trends of the industry/market.
- Be aware of marketing ideas and methods, as well as trends and demographics, to design for specific audiences and produce assets that will appeal to them.
- Brand merchandise: use brand assets to design merchandise for staff or events, such as hats, shirts, pens, notebooks, bags etc.
- Print: design brochures, flyers, business cards, roller banners and magazine ads, balancing brand identity with format constraints and engaging calls to action.
- Digital: create digital advertising assets like banners, images and pop-up ads, to strategically target website users with related content, to maximise the chance of enquiries/conversions.
- Social media: create icons, banners and post images to personify the brand on various platforms, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand image across different channels.
- Templates: create easy-to-use, designed templates to enable all staff to produce interesting and engaging documents that are aligned to brand guidelines, without needing to fully rely on marketing support.
- Pitches: support with design to create visually engaging proposal documents that are reflective of our brand, to facilitate the winning of new business.
- Provide strategic brand guidance and design support throughout the new brand refresh project and the new website project.
