Description:

THE EXPERIENCE YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • One year to three years of similar or related Marketing experience.
  • High school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English or related; or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook. Knowledge of Creative Cloud a plus.
  • Preferred proficiency in social media with experience in social media marketing.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Works in office and field environment locations. This includes but is not limited to: various outdoor and indoor climates and driving conditions.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly need to: see, talk, hear, and perform repetitive movements with arms, hands, and fingers to handle, feel, grasp, and reach. Responsibilities:

YOUR PURPOSE WILL BE:

The person in this position will actively participate in the Credit Union’s marketing and public relations efforts, provide marketing support specifically at the branch level and CU events, and act as a liaison between the Marketing Department and branches. This person should have strong organizational skills and be comfortable with administrative duties and interactions with multiple individuals in various roles within the CU. Also, every employee is responsible for fulfilling our Mission Statement: To improve the financial well-being of our members, while providing world-class service.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Assist the Marketing Team with the development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Assist in the CU’s public relations efforts, including social media and Google My Business support as needed.
  • Assist with planning, purchasing, distribution and inventory control of promotional items for the entire Credit Union.
  • Communicate regularly with branches in order to provide support and assistance to branch sales/marketing efforts, supply branches with appropriate marketing materials as needed, and update all branch digital screens. Keep all branch merchandising, messaging, and signage current.
  • Assist in planning and execution of events such as the Annual Meeting, branch membership drives, Back to School and Orientation events, grand openings, community events, etc. Assists the business development officers with marketing, swag, and materials needed for their community outreach.
  • Assist in researching other financial institutions’ marketing efforts.
  • Maintain communication with the Marketing Operations Manager and prepare and submit reports as requested and attend scheduled meetings.
  • Provide internal administrative support including but not limited to:
  • Phone, desk, and email coverage for the general marketing department channels as needed.
  • Formatting and updating documents as requested.
  • Represent the Credit Union as appropriate and as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Understands the Bank Secrecy Act and how it is applied.
