Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Brand & Events Marketing Coordinator contributes to marketing efforts for the Wesgroup Equipment family of brands. This includes email marketing, digital content, SEO, SEM and print materials. This role also executes on events, merchandise, and website product inventory. We are looking for an organized team player who enjoys contributing to marketing strategy while collaborating on projects to build brands, drive sales and enhance the customer experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of marketing strategy and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Strong understanding of SEO & SEM best practices
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong writing, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Adaptable and proactive with an ability to manage priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Understanding of Website CMS tools and basic HTML
  • Experience with marketing segmentation and communication tools
  • Willingness to travel between all branches.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record

Training, Education and Experience:

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or related field

Responsibilities:

  • Plan & execute campaigns, promotions and other marketing across all relevant channels
  • Update and maintain website equipment inventory for assigned brands
  • Plan and post content for applicable social media platforms
  • Event planning and execution across digital, in-house, trade show, and other events
  • Update and maintain website product inventory
  • Coordinate internal marketing requests and ensure timely action
  • Submission of all COOP program reimbursements
  • Completion of Marketing expenses monthly
  • Coordinate orders for employee and customer merchandise
  • Contribute to overall marketing strategy and execution.
  • Work with marketing & communications team to ensure consistency of brand across platforms
  • Other projects and tasks as required.
