Job Description
Minor Hotels is seeking a passionate and experienced Brand Excellence Manager to join our collaborative and high-performing marketing team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, eager to make an impact on the guest experience across our diverse portfolio of hotels in the Asia Pacific region. As part of this integral role, you will play a key part in ensuring the physical manifestation of MINOR ANZ brands, creating memorable experiences that engage and delight guests.
This role offers an excellent chance to work closely with senior leadership to shape and maintain brand integrity across various properties, while executing innovative brand experiences. The Brand Excellence Manager will be a guardian of operational brand standards, ensuring consistency and excellence from concept to execution. You will also help bring international brand operations to life as they localise in the Australasian market, cementing your role as a key influencer in the overall brand strategy for Minor Hotels in the region.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Drive the physical manifestation of MINOR ANZ brands within the guest experience at our hotels, ensuring alignment with brand vision.
  • Act as the brand guardian, overseeing the execution of operational brand standards, hallmarks, and ensuring consistent brand delivery across all properties.
  • Develop and implement signature brand experiences, operational standards, and guidelines to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Lead the creation and execution of special events and strategic alliances that elevate the brand presence within the region.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to uphold brand integrity and service excellence.
  • Monitor, track, and measure the success of brand operational deployments using KPIs such as NPS, TAR, GRI, and other relevant brand/revenue metrics.
  • Localise international brand operations entering the ANZ market, ensuring their seamless integration and adaptation for local guests.
  • Provide ongoing training and support for property teams to ensure brand standards are adhered to consistently across all levels of operations.
  • Drive the creation and development of new brand initiatives, ensuring they are in line with company strategy and contribute to overall growth.
  • Continuously assess brand performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to ensure sustained success.
    Qualifications

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ brand experience, ideally with an operational background or previous operations experience within a Hotel environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build lasting professional relationships with a national network of stakeholders
  • Proven ability to influence decision-making, driving key outcomes and shaping strategies that impact business goals
  • Effective planning and organisational skills to manage pressure situations, multiple tasks and ability to work with a sense of urgency and within required timeframes
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Availability to travel frequently to our hotels across the Asia Pacific region
  • Experience within a hotel environment (not essential but will be looked at favourably)
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing / Communications/ Business or similar (preferred but not essential)
