We have an exciting opportunity for a Brand Lead - Nordics to join Norgine.
The person holding this position will report to the Head of Commercial (General Manager) .

The core responsibility of the of Brand Lead:

  • Achieve sales and profit targets across the RCU portfolio and / or countries as agreed with the Head of Commercial.
  • Provide input to General Manager to ensure correct development of product strategies and planning in the framework of global positioning that will effectively translate to each RCU across a range of brands within the BU
  • Champion and lead the brands within the RCU to maximise motivation, optimise resource and investment allocation in line with agreed plans
  • Localisation and realisation of local brand plans and annual marketing plans for the RCU across all brands (within the BU)
  • Create recommendations on local resourcing and promotional spend per product and collaborate with global functions to ensure agreement reached across all brands within the RCU

  • Close collaboration and cooperation between global functions and local functions including Sales, Medial Affairs and Market Access - Leadership of multiple brands in an RCU

  • Operating in a multi country environment or in a large complex market in a single country

  • Responsible for local brand budget for all (BU( brands across all countries in the RCU as agreed with the General Manager and Global Brand Leads.

TECHNICAL SKILL & EXPERIENCE

Degree in sciences and/or business administration
3+ years experience in marketing
Functional expert
Experience as a manager / team leader
Very good communication and diplomatic skills and ability
Good leadership and motivational skills
Speaking and writing fluently English and a Nordic language
Ability to operate and influence at a local and global level with senior managers in a matrix organisation
Ability to operate independently in a matrix environment with direct line manager in a different location and with multiple stakeholders (working with multiple Global Brand Managers)
A strong will to succeed with strong analytical skills combined with creativity and a structured way of working
Very good knowledge of MS Office

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Sales and profit targets or pre launch objectives across the RCU portfolio and / or countries as agreed with the Head of commercial.
  • Provide input to global functions to ensure correct development of product strategies and planning in the framework of global positioning that will effectively translate to the RCU, highlighting local opportunities for growth, for all brands and / or countries within the RCU.
  • Collaborate with Global Brand Managers to co-create brand positioning, brand book, core imagery and overarching campaign strategy for all brands and / or countries and to be accountable for adherence to agreed approaches
  • Localisation and realisation of brand plan and annual marketing plan for the RCU across all brands and / or countries
  • Champion the brand locally within the RCU to maximise motivation, optimise resource and investment allocation in line with agreed plans across all brands and / or countries
  • Sit on the RCU Leadership Team and collaborate with RCU colleagues to achieve RCU objectives
  • Accountable for gaining global approval prior to adapting and localizing global brand content for the RCU, working with local creative or artwork agencies as necessary (e.g. enhancing content and market-specific content needs) directly or through direct reports. Use Norgine systems e.g. Wizard where possible
  • Drive recommendations on local resourcing and promotional spend per product within collaboration with GM and with approval from global brand directors for all brands and / or countries
  • Manages approval of local content via Medical, Legal and Regulatory
  • Responsible for interfacing with select customers and KOLs and organizing local congresses
  • Monitor performance, update demand planning forecasts and manage local supply for the brand as part of S&OP process
  • Development of local target lists and omi-channel contact plan
  • Build and develop the omni-channel plan specific to local customers
