POSITION SUMMARY

Threshold Brands is a private equity sponsored multi-brand franchisor with brands that generate sales of more than $250 million annually. All our brands provide services for the homeowner. Today, we are 10 brands strong, including MaidPro, Men in Kilts, Pestmaster, USA Insulation, Plumbing Paramedics, Heating & Air Paramedics, Granite Garage Floors, Sir Grout, Mold Medics and Miracle Method.
USA Insultation, based in Cleveland, Ohio, is looking for a Brand Leader! USA Insulation manufactures proprietary premium injection foam insulation for the residential and commercial market providing the highest quality installation customer service experience. The Brand Leader is the highest-level position within the brand and is the liaison to the franchise community. The Brand Leader will own the overall success of the brand in working with the franchisees and is responsible for the brand’s culture, franchisee satisfaction, brand revenue growth, unit economics of the franchisees and brand specific KPI’s.
The Brand Leader will work closely with Threshold Brands’ Shared Service departments (customer contact center, marketing, technology, helpdesk, training, etc.) to ensure they are delivering the appropriate level of support to their brand. The Brand Leader will work collaboratively with other Brand Presidents/Leaders to ensure consistency and share best practices across all brands.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Take a lead role in designing and developing the foundation of the brand’s Franchise and Franchisee operation
  • 75% working on the tactical day to day operation of the brand and 25% working on driving the brand’s strategy to drive increase in growth and revenue
  • Create and document operational best practices and KPI’s
  • Serve as a liaison between the Home Office and franchisees as needed
  • Monitor and regularly assess individual franchise metrics and implement improvement strategies across the Franchise organization
  • Provide operational guidance and counsel to maximize franchisee’s investment
  • Assist franchisees in understanding and maintaining proper marketing spend sufficient to satisfy customer demand and business growth
  • Partner with franchise sales and key individuals in the discovery and sales process
  • Develop analytics, processes, and systems that provide scalable support mechanisms that coordinate with the Threshold Brands Shared Services
  • Serve as escalation point for franchisee issues / recommend default process
  • Manage franchisee Ideas / Ideas Forum
  • Manage Franchise Coach(es) performance (if applicable)
  • Conducts weekly 1:1 meetings and provides individual performance feedback and coaching for personal and career development to franchise support team (if applicable)
  • Responsible for hiring and training all new staff members

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10 years previous managerial experience in a franchise and/or service related industry
  • Ability to develop, plan and implement short and long range goals
  • Strong Financial skills, ability to read and interpret financial reports (P & L, Balance Sheet)
  • Strong Management skills with the ability to coach and motivate others to achieve goals
  • Familiar with EOS business management tools
  • Analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and time management skills
  • Strong ability to partner with others to achieve results/resolution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and influence
  • Exceptional relationship management experience in a fast paced and high touch environment
  • Proficient with technology and ability to adopt new technologies (MS Office, CRM items, Google Docs)
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to take initiative
  • Must be able to travel throughout the U.S
