Join us at Karo Healthcare on our exciting journey. We’re currently looking for a Brand Manager for our office in Düsseldorf.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate excellence in executing and implementing tactical initiatives at DACH and CE markets (Poland, Czechia, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, and others).
  • Adapt global strategies to local markets and execute additional local activities as necessary.
  • Take ownership of the activity plan for each managed brand.
  • Concentrate on brand building initiatives that provide a clear return on investment.
  • Serve as the product specialist and primary point of contact for internal and external requests and artwork updates.
  • Collaborate across multiple brands within the cross-category.
  • Optimize and coordinate below-the-line activities and materials.
  • Oversee the production of local promotional materials and campaigns to ensure timely delivery, including translating master material.
  • Ensure that all activities and point of sale (POS) materials comply with local legislation and adhere to the internal guidelines and policies of Karo.
  • Coordinate various activities such as education programs, key opinion leader (KOL) networks, material for sales meetings, exhibitions, etc.
  • Prepare monthly review of advertising and promotion (A&P), analyze market insights, etc.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to define the total promotional budget.
  • Manage the tracking of budgets and suggest adjustments when necessary.
  • Support and propose the launch of new product developments/limited editions within the category.
  • Take charge of the long-term local brand planning process for managed brands.
  • Being responsible for:
  • ATL & BTL activity plan ownership
  • Local brand P&L ownership
  • Local trade, PR & media briefing
  • Content adaption, creation and distribution
  • Local pricing guidance
  • External events (i.e., exhibitions, trade fairs, etc…)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven track record of successfully building brands and managing P&L in highly competitive industries, resulting in significant sales, market share, and brand value growth.
  • Extensive experience in sales and marketing of Pharmacy products (prescription, over-the-counter, and consumer health) or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
  • Expertise in marketing products (prescription, over-the-counter, consumer health, or FMCG) to both drugstores/pharmacies and mass market, with a demonstrated track record of successful consumer marketing and brand development.
  • Experience working with a wide range of brands and categories, including digitally advanced and/or digitally native brands.
  • Ability to lead the development of brand growth strategies at the local market level.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute impactful marketing initiatives that drive growth, based on powerful data-driven insights, and effectively engage consumers at every touchpoint along their path-to-purchase.
  • Leadership skills in developing and delivering integrated digital campaigns, as part of comprehensive local and global marketing strategies. This includes dynamic media and creative optimization based on real-time performance.
  • Demonstrated capability to create consistent and effective content ecosystems across multiple regional markets and consumer touchpoints.
  • Track record of successful innovation and implementation of new pricing, packaging, and channel range solutions.
  • Highly skilled in driving brand performance and leading complex cross-functional initiatives within a remote matrix organization.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in P&L leadership, budget management, pricing strategies, and cost optimization.
