Groupe Marcelle is currently looking for a Brand Manager, development and portfolio strategy – Watier for a permanent full-time position.
Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager - Watier, the Brand Manager will be responsible for actively participating in product development and driving the brand’s innovation and launch strategy. The candidate will draw on her/his analysis of category performance, products and profitability to effectively manage the portfolio and product life cycles. The person will also manage a variety of relationships with internal and external collaborators.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with innovation and R&D teams on seasonal and promotional launches, considering market trends and consumer needs while building a balanced and profitable brand portfolio.
  • Develop sound business plans that will deliver incremental brand profits.
  • Determine pricing, margins, distribution strategy, sales forecasts, discontinuations, exit strategy, etc.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the portfolio and make recommendations to improve the offering.
  • Work closely with sales, purchasing, logistics, marketing, and finance departments to develop and execute marketing plans on time and on budget.
  • Closely monitor the competition, analyze the market, and track trends to identify opportunities and ensure continued brand growth.
  • In collaboration with cross-functional teams, inform 360 plans to support launches and promotional executions, including displays, POP, media plan, PR, social media content, website, newsletters, etc.
  • Work closely with merchandising and category management on distribution strategy.
  • Create promotions and campaigns that are relevant to the brand and will help strengthen the core business.
