Description:

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Marketing, Brand & Business Strategy: Lead the Marketing Strategy and Annual Planning process. Category and market evaluation, business opportunities and priorities, strategic objectives and innovation funnel.
  • Marketing operations & execution: (brand management) development and execution of the 360-marketing support plan to achieve strategic objectives for each profit centre and innovation launch campaigns, performance tracking and analysis
  • Customer Marketing: Develop, execute, manage and track trade and customer marketing plans, aligned with the individual key account managers, and operational field team. Includes customer engagement and close support of sales team for buyer reviews and innovation listing meetings
  • Promotional Planning: Determining required promotional plans based on performance by profit centre and ensuring alignment and execution with sales team and promotional marketing support below the line.
  • Innovation project Management: Innovation project gate management, ATL & BTL communication strategy development and execution (incl instore/customer execution), Volume assumption and alignment with customer team,
  • Creative Asset and Content development: Strategic and creative brief development for ATL and BTL communications and agency scoping/management of internal creative team
  • Management of Agencies and third-party suppliers: Relationship management and KPI tracking of all creative, activation and strategic agencies
  • Demand forecasting: Volume impact from ATL & BTL activity input into all forecast meeting in conjunction with broader team
  • Budget Management: management of budgets by profit centre aligned to achieving overall business objectives.
  • Pricing: inputting of pricing and promotional strategies and ensuring compliance.
  • P&L Management: monthly P&L review assessing issues and opportunities to land top line and bottom line targets.
  • Category Reviews, Market Research and Consumer Insights: Market data scanning and analysis for all categories to track performance and determine marketing activity and identify innovation opportunities.
  • Digital Marketing: work with our agency to develop and implement targeted digital marketing strategies and content including social media, search optimization, lead generation, email marketing, content marketing, and online advertising.
  • com/Direct to Consumer: responsible for the full management of futurelife.com; develop the strategy and manage the execution of the e-commerce channel (Futurelife.com inclusive of marketing support channels, promotional planning and pricing strategies.
  • TV: Management of the production of TV Commercials, creative concepts, liaising with the production houses, copywriting and project management
  • Trademarking: Management of all trademarking for the brand and liaising with the legal teams
  • Schools Programmes: Management of the schools programme strategy and executional plan
  • International Markets: Management of the Indian Market: Demand planning, Marketing and promotional planning

Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience, preferably within FMCG
  • 3 year tertiary Marketing qualification - Diploma / Degree minimum
  • Ability to leverage cross-functional teams.
  • Ability for Strategic as well as Tactical & Operational thinking
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate cross functional interactions with other functions: DX, insights, finance, sales, manufacturing & logistics
  • Strong Execution focus of brand Marketing activity, partnering with Agencies, Shopper, Customer to bring to life
  • Project Management skills for innovation / renovation projects with Commz & NPD
  • Focus on deliverables to meet AOP targets on vol, NR
  • Financial acumen to manage A&M and provide reporting as needed
