OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The role is focused on representing our client’s publishing and related projects across brand management, marketing and PR strategy, materials and activations, in partnership with key partners. As a key brand guardian, this role takes the lead in ensuring brand and product marketing reflects our client’s vision, the franchise brand values and is in line with the strategic franchise plan. The individual in this role is responsible for collaborating with key partners to achieve high quality materials and approving those materials on behalf of our client.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Responsibilities:

  • Supports Head of Marketing & Planning, developing long term brand and franchise strategy for Harry Potter across key partners including publishers, Pottermore, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Warner Bros. Discovery.
  • Key marketing contact across all J.K. Rowling children’s publishing projects and for Warner Bros. Discovery divisions (including gaming, consumer products, experiences).
  • Coordinate key franchise tentpoles with Head of Marketing & Planning. Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to drive alignment and potential amplification.
  • Manage and maintain digital Brand and Marketing hub that includes guidelines, tentpole toolkits and ensure partners have latest strategic planning documents.
  • In collaboration with the Harry Potter International publishing team, oversees brand strategy and marketing plans across key international markets.
  • Primary point of contact for international publishing marketing strategy, communicating to key partners including publishers, Pottermore, HPATCC and WBD.
  • Owns and develops strategic plans and guidelines across a portfolio of projects.
  • Provides project leadership in line with the global franchise plan, remaining faithful to the Harry Potter canon and values in all aspects of development of campaigns and materials, driving quality and innovation.
  • Proactively identifies process improvement and development with publishing partners and implements through strong project management.
  • Manages stakeholder relationships and leads on strategic calls and meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Research and share insights on relevant market and audience trends.
  • Acts as a role model for other members of the team, lending their experience to support on key projects.
  • Actively participates in team meetings and workshops, collaborating closely with colleagues across a variety of categories, working together for the success of all projects.
  • Consistently demonstrates the TBP values through their work and interactions with key internal and external stakeholders.
