Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Brand Manager to join our Marketing team in Auckland, representing specialty coffee icon, Hummingbird.
You will be based in our East Tamaki office alongside our supportive and enthusiastic Marketing team. This role is a great senior opportunity to work with well-known brands and could be a stepping stone to grow your Marketing career within JDE!

In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement a winning local strategy for Hummingbird.
- Manage all marketing activities including local packaging, communication, and innovation projects and NPDs
- Maintain strategic relationships with local media and brand agencies
- Manage strategy & implementation of Hummingbirds ‘green bean fund’ charitable donations
- Manage Hummingbirds digital platforms, such as our direct-to-consumer (D2C) website, database and social pages.
- Manage the marketing budget for Hummingbird.
Qualifications
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
- You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing
- 7+ years previous experience in Brand Manager roles, ideally for other well-known brands within FMCG
- You have proven experience in delivering successful brand and category strategies
- You have a passion for coffee and feel connected to our brands
- You have excellent stakeholder management skills – both internal and external
- You can manage a wide range of projects and tasks at the same time
