Responsibilities:

SCOPE OF THE ROLE:

itsu [grocery] is looking for a driven Brand Manager International to join its ever-expanding international team.
Overarching responsibilities include building and implementing brand marketing strategies and managing budgets across 5 Key Markets: Netherlands, Ireland,Germany, Spain & France

strategy & category

  • you will develop a robust understanding of international consumers, brand perception, retailers, competitors and categories across the 5 key markets
  • you will use this knowledge to develop & implement impactful packaging (jointly with the International Project Manager) & through-the-line marketing plans for each market, working closely with thebrand team to execute
  • you will buy and analyse data for key markets to build compelling sell-ins to retailers & inform the broader international strategy
  • you will help define the international range strategy: identifying gaps in each market & where itsu [grocery] can add value
  • you will advise on the right promo mechanics & RRPs in each market

implementation & analysis

  • you will work closely with retailers and distributors to deliver best in class in store activation
  • you will establish our marketing agency partners and support structure in each market to deliver impactful ATL and BTL plans
  • you will manage the critical path for all activations
  • you will analyse the ROI/performance against KPIs for all activities and report back to the business regularly, recommending actions for future improvements

budget

  • you will manage the total international marketing budget, jointly with the International Project Manager who is responsible for the ‘Artwork’ spend
  • you will be responsible for reviewing the monthly marketing numbers ensuring that spend has been correctly captured & work closely with the finance team to amend any discrepancies
  • you will work closely with the international team & distributors to ensure the most effective use of this spend and report back regularly to the business on the shape of the budget allocation per market
