Description:

Overview:
Salem Web Network is seeking a dedicated and experienced Brand Manager of Video Content to build on our video monetization strategies and increase video viewership primarily on GodTube.com.
The ideal candidate will oversee brand management and supervise a creative team. They will be passionate about digital media, possess strong leadership qualities, and have a proven track record in brand management, social media marketing, and content strategy. This role involves supervising staff, managing social media presence, cultivating content partnerships, crafting engaging copy, and curating brand content. The brand manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the branding strategies for our online media platforms. A background in creating/producing/marketing video content is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of staff members responsible for various aspects of brand management and content creation.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase engagement and drive traffic to our online media platforms.
  • Manage high-level relationships and negotiations with record labels
  • Oversee our GodTube partner program incentivizing ministries and other influencers to publish with us.
  • Write compelling copy for newsletters, promotional materials, and social media posts.
  • Curate and select brand content, including videos, to ensure alignment with brand identity and audience preferences.
  • Analyze performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics to optimize content and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement branding initiatives that support business objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in branding, social media, and online content management.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development opportunities for team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in brand management, social media marketing, and content strategy.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of marketing and advertising sales principles.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and other relevant analytics tools.
  • Experience in negotiating and managing partnerships with external vendors and partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute branding strategies that drive engagement and growth.
  • Familiarity with online content management systems and digital publishing platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven mindset.
