This role is within the UK/IRE marketing team for J&J Vision Care, a small but lively team. You will be one of a number of marketers working on the ACUVUE® brand and will report into the Group Brand Manager, Communications and Digital Lead. Collectively the marketing team works across both professional and consumer marketing, to both drive eye care professional advocacy, and consumer demand, for the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand manager for ACUVUE® Professional Communications & Digital, with day-to-day responsibility for all professional touchpoints across owned, earned and paid.

Drive performance by owning and delivering the strategic professional communications plan for ACUVUE®/Johnson & Johnson Vision.

  • Supporting Group Brand Manager with overall professional comms strategy
  • Lead deployment of professional media plan, focused on growing return on investment through a performance marketing approach
  • Lead Professional PR activation to ensure ACUVUE®/J&J remain top of mind with ECPs
  • Lead Conference planning and deployment, working closely with cross-functional partners including Professional Education. Amplify conference attendance pre, during and post to maximise return on investment
  • Optimise owned channels including Email and website content and functionality.
  • Competitor focus - monitor activity & derive insight to improve ACUVUE® communications impact
  • Effectively manage Professional media and PR agencies

Unlock category growth by winning with our key account (KA) customers
As marketing lead for a defined Customer Activation Team, drive contact lens category growth & maintain/grow Acuvue share within our key account customers by:
1. leading marketing aspects of specific projects/initiatives
2. Building relationships with the relevant KA contacts (head office and store level)
3. Shaping consumer/shopper outreach specific to key account

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience and Skills:
Required:
Experienced brand/product manager with the confidence and experience to take the reins in this high priority role quickly.
Critical to be self-sufficient, enthusiastic and passionate about delivery.
The marketing team work closely with Professional Affairs, Key Accounts, and the Salesforce management team in the UK/IRE business. A strong customer (retailer) focus is an essential part of how we do business and you’ll also be part of a cross functional team specific to a leading UK customer in order to drive excellence in customer activation.
The role also involves working closely with the EMEA marketing team on a UK lead market basis.
Preferred:
Sales/commercial and previous HCP experience beneficial but not essential.
Other:
Fluent in English
Occasional (<10%) travel around the UK e.g., conferences, work-with days with sales reps. Occasional trips within EMEA (1 or 2 per year)
