This position sits in our Global Travel Retail business. Global Travel Retail is one of the Group’s largest markets, bringing Pernod Ricard brands to life in the exciting and innovative Travel Retail channel which includes duty-free, cruise ships & border shops around the globe. The Prestige team is the champion of Pernod Ricard prestige brands in GTR, including Martell, Royal Salute, Ballantine’s Prestige and Malts, many of which is the unassailable market leader in its category. We value creativity, collaboration, diversity and conviviality.
Your unique contribution
Lead the development of Royal Salute brand in GTR – 50%.
- Support Marketing Manager, shaping long term & short term brand strategy and driving brand portfolio strategy and innovation pipeline.
- Lead the 18M brand strategy and activation planning and make sure full alignment with brand company and business units (BU’s).
- Work closely with Brand Company to support NPD process from planning to launch managing each gate and coordinate relevant stakeholders (including brand company, logistic team, finance, business units etc).
- Lead the development of global brand activations to support NPD launch and global activations including GTR global toolkit development, assets development, digital/physical consumer experience and instore activation coordination with BU’s.
- Work closely with relevant key markets to boost the brand among key nationalities with right product, activation and resource. Explore additional opportunities to drive brand equity as well as business success.
- Work closely with Consumer Engagement team to develop 360 degree consumer communication and engagement plan including digital media, OOH, PR and E-Com & CRM collaboration in key markets
- Lead the collaboration between key domestic market and business units to maximize synergy
- As the brand champion, lead the daily communication with brand company and business unites making sure the alignment of global strategy and local implementation.
- Effectively monitor and manage brand A&P budgets to ensure proper alignment with key strategic initiatives and annual finance process
Who you’ll be working with
Internally, you’ll work with Brand Company (Chivas Brothers), GTR Business Units, Finance, other marketing functions such as insight team, omni-channel team, retail design, retail training
Externally, you’ll work with external creative agencies, media agencies
Your blend of talent
This position could be right for you if you have:
- Previous experience in drinks industry/FMCG/premium or luxury and experience in both brand and trade/customer marketing is highly preferable
- Proven record in marketing
- Must be able to manage multiple initiatives with strong organization and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skill and presentation compilation
- Thorough and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and Business acumen
- Can-do attitude and strong collaboration spirit.
- Energetic, proactive, convivial with strong work ethics
- Proficient English language skills both verbal and written
- Global team experience or multi-market experience is a plus
