JOB DESCRIPTION:

What will you work on?
The Brand Manager, US Marketing is responsible for supporting and informing the development, implementation, and management of the strategic and tactical marketing plans, to drive consumer demand in the US Market for assigned business segment.

How will you create impact?

  • Manage a portfolio of Brands and drive them to exceed annual corporate goals – revenue, margin, market share, and consumer demand in US Market.
  • Understand and manage brand forecasting. Provide input to market forecast retail action plans that deliver on brand strategy.
  • Support/deliver TLP Management/Pricing – manage mix/pricing to achieve financial objectives. Assist roll ups, keep to pricing deadlines, liaise with Brand Finance and Sales.
  • Deliver on key functions/processes with the Senior Brand Manager, US Marketing.
  • Ensure/support the management and implementation of Consumer Marketing Campaigns:
  • Support budgets, including TV/Media planning, Digital, TV/Digital Commercial Production, PR, Influencers.
  • Insure all ‘go to market assets’ are available for US launch – how to’s, PDPs, review plans, etc.
  • Lead reporting and analysis of POS. Make recommendations and manage marketing plans based on item and brand retail performance.
  • Partner with Shopper Marketing on establishing best in class retail plans
  • Collaborate with US Sales team for US Customer specific plans – product lines, external TV plans, brand promotional guidelines, channel exclusives
  • Toy Fair – a key member of the wider team responsible for managing attendance at Toy Fair. Present to trade/retail partners, through previews and Toy Fairs, to secure necessary levels and breadth of retail support.
  • Use all tools available (e.g., BI, POS, NPD, brand health checks, mix management) to evaluate and ensure high turns at retail.

What are your skills and experience?

  • Experience working with licensors and managing licensed brands preferred
  • Consumer product brand management experience in a new product-oriented industry, preferably working with toy, entertainment, fashion, or other pop culture products
  • Working knowledge of a variety of marketing tactics from TV, print, digital and consumer promotions
  • Ability to navigate or learn new systems – BI, SAP
  • Experience managing brand PL with proven results of achieving MC/DC/GS$ targets
