Title: Brand Marketing Manager - Grills (Hybrid)
Reports to: Brand Marketing Director
Job Purpose: The Grills Brand Marketing Manager will develop & execute winning Marketing strategy, commercialization plans and programs to drive brand awareness, brand equity, market share, consumer conversion and sales growth across a variety of channels in North America. The Grills Brand Marketing Manager will collaborate across multi-functional stakeholder groups to develop, align and execute the Marketing plans while remaining flexible to capitalize on emerging opportunities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Undergraduate degree or comparable post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Commerce with a major/focus in Marketing. MBA an asset.
  • Minimum 7 years of Brand Marketing experience. Consumer Packaged Good or Hard Goods experience preferred.
  • Sales experience an asset. Experience coaching and managing a direct report an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Must be able to accommodate occasional cross border travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop & execute a wide variety of B2B and B2C brand and customer advertising, marketing collateral, channel/customer programs, promotions, price books, website content, point of sale communications & merchandising solutions. Collaborate externally with creative partners to develop public relations & advertising campaigns. Collaborate with internal teams including: sales, design, digital, photography/videography in creating assets for campaigns.
  • Participate in Stage Gate meetings for grills business, review R&D/Product Marketing pipeline projects, provide Brand Marketing commercial plan input and alignment to launch timelines. Develop new product commercialization plans/programs and coordinate photography/videography, packaging development and asset development with internal teams and external partners. Ensure excellence in execution of programs & adherence to critical trade milestones for communication and new product launch/season readiness launch windows.
  • Lead annual grills planning process, collaborating cross functionally to develop the plan and budget that delivers business objectives. Collaborate with digital marketing team to develop integrated communication programs. Then gain internal alignment and communicate the plan to key stakeholders.
  • Develop strong external vendor/supplier relationships to ensure best in class creative/program development & execution.
  • Be the voice of North American grill consumers to the business & continue to evolve our understanding of them, recommending & leading consumer research initiatives in collaboration with product marketing.
  • Manage Grills Brand Marketing budget and provide quarterly financial updates.
  • Be a strong brand guardian both internally across the organization and externally, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
  • Collaborate and liaise with international grills Marketing colleagues & sharing best practices.
