Description:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2 years of experience in a marketing role
  • Previous coordination and office admin experience preferred
  • Post-secondary qualifications in marketing or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and interests
  • Strong computer knowledge – Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Casino, gambling or entertainment industry experience preferred

CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to obtain a valid GPEB registration
  • Ability to complete all BCLC required trainings
  • Serving it Right Certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs
  • Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours

Responsibilities:

  • Work cross-functionally to track performance of brand awareness campaigns
  • Measure brand awareness and guest feedback through brand and customer satisfaction surveys
  • Create internal posts and actively represent the marketing department to employees via internal comms (internal comms platform, posters, etc.)
  • Submit all photography and video shoot requests to BCLC for approval. Main point of contact for all shoots, and must be present for all
  • Complete the graphic design and scheduling of in-house projects including directional signage, HR associate collateral, menu layouts, casino floor creative, etc.
  • Work with marketing team to create website updates as needed
  • Manage internal and external events calendar on Monday.com
  • Manage larger brand projects with graphic designer including partnership assets (i.e. Canucks in-arena)
  • Act as the “brand police” by reviewing all guest-facing collateral from other teams to ensure brand compliance
  • Work closely with marketing team to create guest-facing content as needed (social and digital channels, OOH, etc.)
  • Drive the passion and presence of the Parq Casino brand across all departments in the company. Ensure that the brand ‘lives’ in assets across the organization including uniforms, customer service, training, etc.
