Brazil Delivery Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering/ Naval Architecture or related engineering disciplines, Diploma holders with relevant experience are welcomed to apply
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in marine industry. Preferably with FPSO experience in Brazil.
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
• Able to motivate in a challenging work environment
• Possesses technical knowledge of shipbuilding/ heavy steel structure
• Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills
• Possesses good leadership, planning and decision-making skills
• Able to read general drawings and master plan
• Able to work in a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Ensures proper control and utilization of resources in the respective yards.
• Ensures Company and government’s rules and regulations are being complied with
• Manages and supervises and construction of all modules under the respective yards
• Monitors manpower loading and schedule
• Reviews the work production processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Liaises with other sections, departments, owners and classification bodies
• Ensures efficient administration, supervision and management of personnel
• Ensures the discipline of the project workforce
• Ensures the safety standards are maintained
• Carries out tasking of work to his subordinates
• Controls and manages the sub-contractors and their workers
• Plans work schedules and ensure work completion through meetings, discussions and progress reports etc. with his personnel
