Description:

Recently awarded Aberdeen City & Shire Hospitality Employer of the Year, as well as 2 Michelin Keys, and rated number 1 by Conde Naste Readers Choice, The Fife Arms Hotel, located in the village of Braemar in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, is recruiting an experienced Breakfast Chef de Partie to join the team!

As Breakfast Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for:

  • The smooth, safe, and efficient running of the breakfast service.
  • Preparing breakfast orders “a la minute” for our guests.
  • Ensuring the mis-en-place is ready for service, including the breakfast buffet and hot section.
  • Ensuring the quality of food is of the exceptional standard expected when dining at the hotel.
  • Ensuring the Executive Chef is kept aware of any relevant feedback from either the hotel guests or team.
  • Assisting on other sections or help with other duties when required.
  • Preparing order forms on a daily basis, whilst keeping in mind stock usage, menu planning and business levels.
  • The cleanliness, stock control, organisation, and standards of the section

Our successful Breakfast Chef de Partie will have:

  • Proven experience from within a similar luxury hospitality environment.
  • A true passion for food.
  • The enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
  • Good kitchen and knife skills.
  • A thorough understanding of Health & Safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen.
