Breakfast Cook / Prep Cook

GingerBread House restaurant is looking for a part time/full time experienced and reliable breakfast cook to join our team.
For a busy breakfast/lunch restaurant. must be available 6 am to 3 pm, including weekends. Food handlers certificate is required

Must be enthusiastic and willing to work in a clean and organized environment.

• Know the procedures for set-up.
• Know the detailed cooking procedures for the breakfast and the lunch plates
• Responsible for the set-up, maintenance and cleaning of the counter and refrigerators in the kitchen station.
• Responsible for the execution, quality and presentation of every plate.
• Know and apply good hygiene and food safety practices.
• Must do preparations daily and verify inventory according to the preparation lists.
• Ensure that all dishes prepared are up to the quality and presentation standards
• Must have minimum two years culinary or related work experience.
• Must have the ability to operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment including, but not limited to, deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, and flat top grill.
• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be honest, courteous, obliging and attentive.
• Must be able to perform duties in a safe and diligent manner.
• Must present a clean and professional appearance at all times.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
