Description:
The post holder is expected to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.Always ensuring a high standard of English is maintained when providing secretarial support appropriate to the post. Demonstrate advanced keyboard skills for regular use of outpatient computer systems. Undertake any necessary training and effectively use the full range of computer packages available within the Health Board. This includes WPAS, internet, e-mail, Microsoft Word and accessing clinical systems to retrieve patient results on behalf of clinical team.
To be proficient in the use of a range of office equipment i.e. photocopier, scan, laminator and shredding machines, maintain confidentiality at all times. Reporting faults in accordance with office procedure. Be responsible for working in accordance with the Health Boards procedures.
To work in a flexible manner which meets the staff needs and service needs of the Health Board. This will be in accordance with the Health Board policy.
