Description:
HELP TO SHAPE CHANGE AT BRE
We are pleased to announce an excellent opportunity for a BREEAM Consultant to join our team on a permanent basis!
In this role, you will collaborate with the relevant Science Leads to provide technical input into the future development and operation of BREEAM. You will help to ensure an appropriate level of scientific rigour, underpinning evidence and will also contribute to the science base within BREEAM.
Responsibilities:
You will work in close collaboration with BREEAM and other colleagues across the business to:
- Support the development of new and existing BREEAM products.
- Maintain a good practical knowledge of the broad range of sustainability topics covered by BREEAM.
- Support the Core Science Team (CST), including technical working groups, research, literature reviews, steering BREEAM science, and content creation.
- Maintain a deep understanding on relevant industry regulations and how this impacts assessment products.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the BRE Group and external stakeholders to provide insights and outputs.
- Research, develop, and author new and/or revised technical content
- Deliver on the direction of BRE’s product offering, including BREEAM and HQM.
- Monitor and uphold health, safety and wellbeing both personally and for all team members and any external visitors accountable to this role.
- Take ownership of personal professional development, ensuring that mandatory training and competency requirements are maintained in addition to other professional development needs as required by the role.
