The Indie Alehouse started as a small brewpub in the Junction neighbourhood in Toronto in 2012. One of the early pioneers of the new-wave of Ontario craft breweries, we have been at the forefront of beer, scratch made pub food, and service. We produce more than 100 different beers a year, and are an integral part of our community.
We focus on making fun, flavourful beer and food, with something for everyone. Our approach has always been to brew what we like, tell the story of the beer, and enjoy with our community.
After eight+ years we have expanded a couple of times to now have a production facility in Etobicoke service the LCBO and accounts, and a second brewpub and retail store inside the Eataly Toronto location.

Job Description
Manager - Indie Alehouse Brewpub at 2876 Dundas st West, Toronto, ON
We are a 140 seat brewpub and beer retail store, now with a CafeTo patio!
The Manager is responsible for leading the FOH team to deliver service excellence and achieve business results.
At the Indie Alehouse in addition to the typical FOH Manager duties, scheduling, working with the Kitchen and brewing team, ensuring a safe, professional workplace at all times and managing performance KPIs - we put a premium on finding people who are passionate about craft beer, and developing our team through coaching and leading by example.
Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

• Minimum of 3 years FOH experience
• Minimum 1 year Managerial or Supervisor experience - ideally more
• Experience in a fast paced, beer forward, high volume venue will be a strong asset
• Smart Serve certificate required, food handlers certificate is a bonus
• Strong business acumen, awareness of the key metrics that drive business success
• Administrative skills, moderate IT skills, and strong problem solving skills are big plusses
• A personal career growth plan is also a huge plus
