ABOUT THE SALVATION ARMY WELLINGTON BRIDGE CENTRE
The Salvation Army Dunedin Bridge Centre exists to provide safe, integrated, high quality treatment and support services to people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or substance use. Our services are evidenced based best practise and are known for being people-centred, caring, transformative and responsive.
We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified Social Worker or addictions counsellor for a part time .25 FTE position in Balclutha.
Responsibilities:
- Provision of casework that provides integrated care for those experiencing co-existing problems of addiction and mental health.
- Working within the framework of The Salvation Army Bridge Programme Model of Treatment.
- Implementation of the Salvation Army Bridge Programme Policies and Procedures
- Assessment, referrals and 1-1 counselling for alcohol and drug issues
