Our mechanics agree that they love the safe and secure permanent working conditions, the great team they work with and the amazing career opportunities.
Rapid future growth, as our electric bus fleet grows, means we are upskilling our team, with access to the latest technology in our brand-new workshop in Rochedale.
Now is an exciting time to join our team of skilled mechanics working on our new fleet of 60 HESS Bi articulated fully electric Metro vehicles. We are seeking motivated and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join us in paving the way towards a cleaner and more efficient public transportation system.
Play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our varied fleet of buses, ensuring their safe and efficient operation. Work with a close-knit, hard-working team of mechanics, coach builders, auto electricians and bus assistants that value and actively promote a positive and committed team culture. You will be performing scheduled maintenance, servicing brakes as well as a multitude of diagnostic and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical investigations with state-of-the-art equipment, with the latest training provided.
If you are passionate about working with a dynamic team, embracing new technologies, and making a significant impact on Brisbane’s transportation future, we want to hear from you.
We also have permanent roles at our Garden City garage, maintaining a fleet of 170 vehicles consisting of a mixture of compressed natural gas and diesel engine powered rigid, Tag steer and articulated buses.
