PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferably experience with applications and tools like Elastic Stack or OpenSearch, Git, Docker, Ansible or Chef
  • Excellent written and verbal skills – German speaker a plus

Qualifications and Education Requirments:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Communications, or comparable education or experience
  • 3 - 5 years of professional experience installing and supporting Broadcast/Media IT – preferably with Media Asset Management software
  • Strong knowledge in the following areas:
  • Equipment, technologies and work processes within the media industry
  • Scripting, markup or programming languages (JavaScript, C#, SQL, XML/HTML)
  • Administration of Windows/Linux servers, Kubernetes, networks, and databases
  • Microsoft/Linux servers and related platforms and application
  • Strong customer orientation and great communication skills
  • Ability to work independently (Self-Driven, focused and analytic)
  • Strong team orientation, with resilience and commitmen

Responsibilities:

  • Technical implementation of sophisticated Media Asset Management integration projects and Support for our North American broadcast clients.
  • Assist our customers during requirements gathering, development, and detailed specification of our on-prem and cloud based IT systems.
  • Configuration and maintenance of complex test and integration environments, including third-party systems from the broadcast sector.
  • Work closely with internal product, development, and quality assurance teams.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support and assist during Go-Live and operation.
  • Maintenance of our Media Asset Management systems, including problem analysis, software updates, configuration changes, and day to day support.
  • Create and update system documentation.
  • Assist in training of customer operational and technical staff.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our project implementation and support processes.
  • Cover our support hotline as part of our global support team.
