Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We’re seeking a diligent BSA Compliance Manager to supervise adherence with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and associated laws. The role involves ensuring company operations, transactions, and policies comply with all relevant regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related; a Master’s degree or relevant certification is beneficial.
Significant experience in BSA compliance. 5+ years
Comprehensive knowledge of BSA and AML laws and regulations.
Detail-orientated with a strong focus on accuracy.
Exceptional leadership, management, and organizational aptitude.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in risk assessment, reporting, and regulatory research.
Aptitude for training and motivating team members.

Onsite 5 days a week in office.

  • Proficiency in drafting and understanding Business Requirement Documents
  • In-depth knowledge of the BSA - Bank Secrecy Act
  • Expertise in AML - Anti Money Laundering procedures and regulations
  • Familiarity with OFAC Regulation and its applications
  • Solid understanding of Bank Regulations and their implications
  • Ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate AML/BSA processes are being followed
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills for clear and concise reporting
  • High level of attention to detail for accurate record keeping and compliance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stress
  • High degree of professionalism and ethical standards.

Responsibilities:

Create, oversee, and test the BSA compliance program to verify ethical, lawful operation.
Conduct regular audits for BSA compliance.
Educate staff on BSA regulations and compliance practices.
Detect and address compliance vulnerabilities and risks.
Review suspicious transactions or activities for potential AML risks promptly.
Offer recommendations for internal operations to ensure BSA compliance.
Keep pace with BSA/AML regulations and trends.
Collaborate with other departments for a compliant and efficient company operation.
Compile and present top-level compliance reports.
