Description:
THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE SAFEGUARDING ADULTS BOARD (BSAB) IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED AND EFFECTIVE INDEPENDENT CHAIR.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the long-term strategic direction of adult safeguarding in Buckinghamshire, particularly as we embark on our new 3-year strategic plan.
The role is expected to require up to a maximum of 30 days per year (approximately 3 days per month), with specific commitments agreed upon during the appointment process.
The initial term is 2 years, with the possibility of extension by mutual agreement, and includes a 6-month probationary period.
Payment will be circa £600 per day with additional millage and accommodation with prior agreement, usually for out of county commitments. The successful candidate may be appointed either on a directly employed contract, or on a consultancy basis (either inside or outside of IR35), dependant on individual circumstances.
ABOUT US
The aim of the Board is to safeguard and promote the welfare of adults at risk to enable them to retain independence, wellbeing and choice and to access their human right to live a life that is free from abuse and neglect. More information about the work of BSAB can be accessed on our website.
