As a Budget Analyst your duties will include but aren’t limited too:
- Review study protocols and grants, develop and negotiate the initial study budget with the sponsor, as well as any amendments.
- Develop internal budgets and process them through the School of Medicine promptly.
- Collaborate with legal to finalize budget and contract.
- Work with the Billing Compliance Office to ensure appropriate designation of procedures and standard of care or research.
- Assist with inquiries and Billing Compliance as needed.
- Collaborate with the financial office to invoice sponsors and develop financial reports.
- Prepare any necessary regulatory documentation.
- Provide support for the successful financial management of clinical trials billings to appropriate sponsors.
- Assist with the development of budgets and assist with budget negotiation.
- Review of clinical research budgets and charges to confirm accuracy and identify any inappropriate billings.
- Work with faculty and staff to provide pre and post award support.
