Description:
We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Budget Analyst, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In your role as a Budget Analyst, you will play a crucial role in financial planning and managing the financial growth of our real estate assets.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing past budget data to identify trends, variances, and patterns that will guide future financial planning.
- Developing projections for future budgets based on historical data, current market conditions, and company goals.
- Calculating and tracking all revenue streams and expenses for multiple properties, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and accurate.
- Creating and maintaining detailed budget files, including spreadsheets and reports, that reflect the financial status of each property.
- Regularly monitoring and comparing actual financial performance against budget projections, identifying any discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborating with property managers and senior management to align budget projections with operational goals and strategies.
- Utilizing skills in Annual Budget, Budget Processes, Microsoft Excel to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Candidate must possess a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Experience in budget management, preferably within the Real Estate & Property industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of annual budget processes
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and planning skills are essential.
