Description:

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Expense Analyst in Houston, Texas. This role is within the finance industry, demanding proficiency in various accounting software systems and business systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all expenses, and P-Cards, auditing, cost analysis, and managing various accounting functions within our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed budget analysis to enhance cost-effectiveness and efficiency within the organization.
  • Utilize accounting software systems to process financial data and generate reports.
  • Handle expense reporting, including completing expense reports, expense reconciliation, and expense analysis.
  • Oversee the P-card administration and ensure proper usage and documentation.
  • Manage accounting functions to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Facilitate the annual budget process, including the preparation, review, and finalization of the budget.
  • Conduct auditing tasks regularly to ensure financial transparency and compliance.
  • Develop expense projections and implement strategies for expense reduction.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of business systems and processes.
  • Respond to budget-related inquiries and provide detailed financial information as required.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
  • Experience with Banner Ads
  • Familiarity with Business systems
  • Understanding of Accounting Functions
  • Experience in creating and managing Annual Budgets
  • Knowledge of Auditing procedures
  • Familiarity with Budget Processes
  • Proficiency in conducting Cost Analysis
  • Ability to Complete Expense Reports
