Responsibilities:

  • You will serve as a Senior Budget Analyst for the USAG Rhineland-Pfalz (USAG RP) execution function in the USAG RP DRM, as a principal advisor to the USAG RP Budget Officer and functional area managers concerning USAG RP budget execution matters.
  • You will represent the USAG RP Budget Officer at Garrison meetings, staff call, conferences, and other related budget functions.
  • You will resolve questions and conflicts of a procedural and technical nature; Certify funds for the USAG RP allocated funds.
  • Research and analyze more difficult budgetary or financial related issues and recommend solutions to these problems.
  • You will be responsible for the accomplishment of, timely and lawful execution, of the USAG RP multi-million dollar annual budget program.
  • Responsibility includes the total budget programs for Operation and Maintenance Army (OMA), Army Family Housing (AFH), Office of Secretary of Defense funds (OSD), and Other Procurement Army (OPA) / Base Commercial Equipment (BCE).
  • You will be responsible to report +/- 5% cost deviations when fund certifying programmed/approved versus submitted requirement for funding.
  • Assure that all commitments and obligations are posted to the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).
  • Reviews submitted funding documents and ensures these are fiscal law compliant, ICW HQ IMCOM Funding Guidance and USAG RP Garrison Commanders priorities.
