REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration or closely allied field AND five years of professional experience in budget, accounting, or allied field. (A master’s degree in business, public administration, accounting, or allied field can
Substitute for one year of the required five years of experience.)
OR
Nine years professional experience in budget, accounting, or allied field and two years’ experience managing and leading a staff within a team environment (Experience can be earned concurrently).
OR
Two years of formal education AND seven years of professional experience in budget, accounting, or allied field and two years’ experience managing and leading a staff within a team environment (Experience can be earned concurrently).

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five years of Senior Budget Analyst experience.
  • Three years of professional level experience with the Washington State Budget process.
  • Three years’ experience planning, developing, and monitoring a large, diverse and complex agency/company budget.
