Build Practice Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience in a professional services role
• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles
• Strong understanding of DevOps and Cybersecurity
• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code tools and methodologies (ArgoCD, Flux, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.)
• Experience developing in Python, powershell, or other programming languages.
• Experience mentoring and coaching others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate and present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience conducting design workshops and strategy sessions with customers
• Understanding of cloud native application design patterns
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A strong desire for personal development and learning
• Client relationship skills and experience managing vendors
• Understanding of scaling technologies and solutions

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Build Principal Consultant is a key member of the Build Practice team at Infinite Ranges, responsible for delivering high-quality professional services and expanding our influence with customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile project management, technology strategy, product offerings, Kubernetes security, and container security.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the team to deliver on-time delivery of all DevSecOps PS Engagements using an Agile delivery model and foster a culture of quality and care
• Consciously create a workplace culture that supports the values and guiding principles of the organization
• Provide pre-sales support to the Sales and Customer Success team including building and presenting client facing materials, qualification guidelines, and proposals
• Write Engagement Summaries, develop solutions, create Services Descriptions, and Assumptions for Statements of Work
• Work with the team to continue development and iteration of SKU’d offerings
• Work with the team to produce Work Breakdown Structures for all engagements prior to proposal
• Lead technology or business scoping or strategy sessions with our Clients
• Deploy ISV and Cloud Security services
• Provide subject matter expertise on DevOps, automation, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, and cloud.
• Develop monthly/quarterly/annual goals for Infinite Ranges aligned with the success markers
• Support Infinite Ranges Partner Success program (Presales, Contracts, Pricing, Customer Success) to grow the pipeline and close additional business.
• Work with the RangeX team to assign and request resources
• Ensure registration of AWS and VMware Services Opportunities
• Partner with Project Managers and Customer Success teams to deliver on NPS scores
• Identify areas of improvement and propose solutions and improvements to policy, process engagement
• Maintain skills and certifications
