The Building Facilities Technician will form part of the Department of Chemistry’s integrated facilities management team.

The Department of Chemistry is recruiting for a Building Facilities Technician to provide support & assistance to the existing facilities management team in matters relating to day-to-day maintenance, repairs and servicing of the laboratory and building environment within the Department, ensuring that the building and equipment across the Chemistry estate are professionally maintained and serviced in a timely and efficient manner. You will be required under the guidance of the Building Manager, alone or in conjunction with others, to use a range of skills and system knowledge including ‘hands on’ participation in technical tasks as required, to ensure a safe, efficient, productive and high-quality research and teaching environment.
