Responsibilities:

  • The management, direction & supervision of electrical related PPM services in a wide range of public sector properties including the management and allocation of work.
  • The delivery of remedial and other projects associated with electrical PPM services and planned maintenance projects.
  • Monitor, assess and report on the quality of contractor service delivery by various means including on-site inspections, reviewing contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), consultation with clients, etc.
  • Review and update asset database, adding and removing clients, properties and services as required.
  • Directing and supervising contractors in undertaking works.
  • Advising clients on a variety of mechanical related issues including planned preventative maintenance and sustainable development.
  • Liaising with other professional and technical staff in the division and with client representatives to effectively maintain the client’s property estate to ensure satisfactory use for intended purpose and value for money.
  • Compliance with current industry standards, legislation and associated regulations.
  • Maintaining branch performance and client delivery in compliance with all statutory, health and safety, policy, good practice requirements and associated guidance.
  • Compliance with public sector procurement policy.
  • The production of feasibility reports, designs and contract managing minor works, reactive and remedial projects.
