Building Maintenance Supervisor

HomeSpace’s current portfolio consists of over 34 owned properties containing 903 units placed in locations throughout Calgary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years in facilities management or building maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and experience overseeing unit turnover in residential properties.
• Proven leadership experience managing a team, including Maintenance Technicians and Property Administrators.
• Experience in managing vendor relationships and overseeing budgets for maintenance and turnover operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot maintenance issues and manage turnover challenges effectively.
• Experience with Yardi property management software, Microsoft Office, and other digital tools.
• Certification in Facility Management (CFM) or related field is an asset.
• In-depth understanding of safety practices, building codes, and regulations.
