  If this sounds like you, we have an opportunity available to work as a Building Modifications Officer with our Buildings Appeals Board.
  The Building Modifications Officer role offers you a fantastic learning opportunity if you are wishing to embark on a building surveyor career. In this role you are responsible for case managing modification and compliance assessment applications, which includes assessing the nature of the application, reviewing drawings and plans and other material filed by the Applicant, corresponding with the Applicant and other parties concerned, consulting with relevant authorities where appropriate, presenting the application to the Board and drafting the determination that gives effect to the Board’s decision in the matter. The Building Modifications Officer is also responsible for providing general information about the Board’s jurisdiction, practice and procedure to internal and external stakeholders including users of the Board.
