ABOUT THE ROLE

Regional Property Services Inc. is seeking a Building Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing maintenance and repairs for residential work orders, managing suite turnovers after tenancy, offering operational support for the building, participating in on-call rotations for after-hours services, and assisting the Property Manager with other tasks and assignments within the defined or implied scope of the position

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute carpentry, painting, drywall, and building repairs as needed.
• Respond to tenant work orders quickly, resolve issues, and document all services in property management software.
• Handle general maintenance tasks such as repairs, sweeping, shoveling, painting, and garbage removal.
• Organize, clean, and maintain storage areas, electrical rooms, mechanical rooms, and telecom rooms.
• Execute and document all Preventative Maintenance tasks.
• Ensure electrical systems are maintained in compliance with standards, including changing light bulbs and replacing components.
• Operate and maintain HVAC and BAS systems, ensuring they meet relevant authority regulations.
• Maintain plumbing systems, including fixtures, supply lines, drain lines, and irrigation systems.
• Ensure the roof performs as designed, and keep building Life Safety systems operational and well-maintained.
• Maintain elevator systems to ensure cleanliness and operational efficiency, oversee vendor/contractor performance, and obtain and present quotes for work.
