  We are currently seeking a diligent and highly motivated Building Operator to join our team at Strategic. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining optimal building operations and fostering positive relationships with clients across various properties owned by Strategic.

Job Description

• Conducting daily building operations tasks, including equipment inspections, mechanical system checks, building maintenance and repairs, and regular surveillance tours.
• Upholding site cleanliness and aesthetics.
• Ensuring the completion of preventive maintenance tasks in line with Strategic’s standards.
• Monitoring and coordinating with maintenance staff and subcontractors during their onsite visits.
• Maintaining an auditable water treatment program that adheres to all approved parameters.
• Responding promptly to service requests and emergencies.
• Completing detailed and accurate documentation as required on a regular basis.
• Adhering to the Quality Management System policies and actively participating in processes to ensure intended outputs.
• Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with client contacts.
• Regularly performing preventative maintenance tasks, improving common areas, and requesting necessary supplies.
• Serving as the cornerstone for maintaining and enhancing the customer service experience while responding to and addressing tenant requests.

Experience & Qualifications

• A valid 5th Class Power Engineers Certificate.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on building operations experience.
• Experience in both commercial and residential buildings.
• Excellent knowledge of building operating systems.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• The ability to lead subcontractors and trades workers.
• The willingness to be on call and work after hours.
• A valid Driver’s License and a clean Driver’s Abstract, with access to a reliable vehicle.
