Our Building Specialty Services group is seeking a Building Science Consultant. YOUR CAPABILITIES AND CREDENTIALS

- Pursuing registration either as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a plus
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in building science consultation or equivalent knowledge of building envelope systems

Responsibilities:
- Assists in the preparation of proposals and establishment of project financial budgets
- Performs project contract drawing reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.)
- Attends pre-construction meetings and document discussions
- Reviews and reports on project mock-ups
- Performs periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items
- Performs field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.)
- Manages and coordinates small and large projects
- Conducts business development to secure revenue-generating projects
- Client management
- Participates in continuing education
- Performs various office related tasks
