Our Building Specialty Services group is seeking a Building Science Consultant. • Pursuing registration either as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in building science consultation or equivalent knowledge of building envelope systems

• Assists in the preparation of proposals and establishment of project financial budgets
• Performs project contract drawing reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.)
• Attends pre-construction meetings and document discussions
• Reviews and reports on project mock-ups
• Performs periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items
• Performs field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.)
• Manages and coordinates small and large projects
• Conducts business development to secure revenue-generating projects
• Client management
• Participates in continuing education
• Performs various office related tasks
