Responsibilities:

JOB OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for building staff regarding security services, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure compliance amongst the team with all relevant legislation, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on security activities, incidents, and service performance to security senior management
  • Ensure all incidents are logged, investigated, and resolved in a timely manner
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats.
  • Implement and manage emergency response plans and ensure all security personnel are trained in emergency procedures

MAIN DUTIES

  • Recruit, train, and supervise security officers to ensure they are capable of performing their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and development opportunities for security staff.
  • Develop and maintain duty rosters, ensuring optimal coverage for all security posts.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the manned guarding services, ensuring all security posts are manned and functioning effectively.
  • Conduct checks and inspections to assess service quality
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manned guarding operations.
  • Become the building SME to engage with stakeholders and external clients
  • Organise and book training programs, through e-learning or on external courses for security officers to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure all security personnel are up-to-date with the latest security practices and technologies.

HEALTH AND SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
  • Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
  • Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.
