BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEER SKILLS:

  • Oversee and monitor the quality of M&E system installations from design coordination to final commissioning and handover.
  • Collaborate with site construction teams to resolve onsite issues, ensuring M&E systems are installed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Act as a liaison between design teams, ensuring seamless integration of M&E systems with architectural and structural elements.
  • Manage and coordinate M&E subcontractors to meet project schedules and quality standards.
  • Engage with utility providers, local authorities, and design teams to secure timely delivery of essential services such as electricity, water, gas, telecommunications, and public lighting.
  • Plan and manage the modification or diversion of existing site services in collaboration with utility providers.
  • Contribute to innovation and value engineering processes, identifying and implementing cutting-edge M&E systems and products.
  • Oversee the management of temporary utility systems, including electricity and water, for active construction sites.
