ABOUT THE ROLE
We are recruting a Building Services Engineer (Mechanical) who will work closely with all staff within the Engineering division to ensure the smooth integrated operational delivery of infrastructure management, engineering, fabric and maintenance services. They will ensure the estate and associated infrastructure is fit for purpose, legally compliant and will support our goals in meeting institutional priorities and initiatives. The role will also play a role in delivering UCL’s broader Sustainability Strategy and carbon reduction targets.
The Building Services Engineer (Mechanical) will provide Mechanical Building Services design in relation to planned maintenance, alteration, refurbishment and new build works. They will also be required to provide technical and professional advice as necessary to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, to the required quality standard, on time, within budget constraints and in accordance with legal and statutory requirements.
