Join out team as a Maintenance Assistant. The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the maintenance of agency buildings, after hour’s emergency maintenance, and completing monthly safety & building checklist to ensure a safe and clean environment for all staff and clients.

TheExpertiseWe’re Looking For

• Valid Texas Drivers License
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; or
• Two (2) years of building services experience or related field with basic knowledge & skill level required for making plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and minor vehicle repairs.

• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Demonstrated success in dealing with a variety of staff, senior management, contractors, and volunteers.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

What you Deliver

• Assists in providing security for agency-leased and owned properties.
• In rotation with other maintenance personnel, maintains the after-hours emergency on-call schedule.
• Assists with parking lot security and traffic control.
• Building maintenance will include but not limited to Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Assists in planning and implementing repairs or projects that are complex requiring greater skill level, time, commitment and / or expense.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
