Join out team as a Maintenance Assistant. The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the maintenance of agency buildings, after hour’s emergency maintenance, and completing monthly safety & building checklist to ensure a safe and clean environment for all staff and clients.
TheExpertiseWe’re Looking For
- Valid Texas Drivers License
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; or
- Two (2) years of building services experience or related field with basic knowledge & skill level required for making plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and minor vehicle repairs.

- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Demonstrated success in dealing with a variety of staff, senior management, contractors, and volunteers.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
What you Deliver
- Assists in providing security for agency-leased and owned properties.
- In rotation with other maintenance personnel, maintains the after-hours emergency on-call schedule.
- Assists with parking lot security and traffic control.
- Building maintenance will include but not limited to Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
- Assists in planning and implementing repairs or projects that are complex requiring greater skill level, time, commitment and / or expense.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
