BUILDING SERVICES MANAGER SKILLS:

  • Oversee multiple M&E design teams, ensuring project-specific requirements and expectations are met.
  • Proactively plan to ensure effective integration of M&E systems, aligning with project handover sequences.
  • Advise and assist construction management teams regarding M&E processes, system selection, and risk mitigation on-site.
  • Lead the M&E function across multiple projects, providing guidance to the site team to ensure excellence in installation execution.
  • Coach and mentor junior Building Services Engineers to support their professional development.
  • Ensure consistent installation quality of M&E systems from coordination through to final commissioning and handover.
  • Manage M&E subcontractors, ensuring they meet project programme, quality, and performance expectations.
  • Support innovation and value engineering efforts in mechanical and electrical systems to implement best-in-class solutions.
  • Standardise the design and management of temporary electrical and water systems for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with utility coordinators to maintain oversight of third-party utility installations.
