JOB SUMMARY

As a Building Electromechanical Technician for our Building & Facilities department at the Senneville site, you will be responsible for all equipment and services installed in a building related to terminal reheat systems, pumping systems (water, glycol, condensate) and RO water production.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Respond to service calls and assist external contractors. Assist other technicians and MMFs when required. Miscellaneous work: filters, pumps, oil systems, etc.
  • Perform maintenance on reverse osmosis systems. Perform preventive maintenance on ventilation systems
  • Responsible for neutralization systems and wastewater station. Verify the PDM system for animal rooms
  • Operate in the ‘’BAS’’ automated building system
  • Take differential pressure readings in the Vivarium
  • Perform any other related tasks as assigned.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE:

  • DEP or DEC in Building Mechanics or Electromechanics
  • 5 years of experience
  • Ability to lift loads up to 50 pounds and be able to climb a stepladder or ladder.
  • Good teamwork skills

ROLE SPECIFIC INFORMATION:

  • Location: 22022 Trans-Canada Highway, Senneville (QC) H9X 1C1
  • Transportation: We offer a free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site. If you come by car, we also have free parking
  • Schedule: Monday- Friday, 40h per week
