Building/ Watch Engineer - 3rd Shift

TO PERFORM THIS JOB EFFICIENTLY, AN INDIVIDUAL WILL BE ABLE TO PERFORM EACH ESSENTIAL DUTY SATISFACTORILY. THE REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND/OR ABILITY REQUIRED.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Prefer someone with general Maintenance Skills
• Possess skills to functionally operate a “full size” van/truck
• Licensure as stated by Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)
• ** You will need to pass a CBRE and a Client background check

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Review and assign work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete tasks. Uses company and client CMMS to review work-orders and document completion.
• Inspects building systems including electrical, fire alarms, possible HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
• Maintains the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements
• Consults with clients to schedule to perform assigned repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life. Complete maintenance and repair records in CMMS per guidelines
• Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
